STACK SESSIONS: CJ CHENIER INTERVIEW/INSTUDIO by

Zydeco legend CJ Chenier stopped by to play a few songs and chat with Zak before his show at Pop’s a few weeks ago. He brought along his ballin’ accordion and a washboard player, and jammed out a few tunes on air. Check the whole interview here, and download/listen to the songs below.

oh ps we’re in the process of switching over to a new blog client, hopefully something that will take megaupload out of the equation and let us host audio in-house. stay tuned for details as they unfold!

you can't tell from that picture, but the accordion has is monogrammed and he has a special button to press during high energy solos that makes the "CJ" light up

I hope the new blog client doesn't loose all the past posts.

If it does, I wouldn't recommend making the switch.

It should actually be easy enough to upload files separately onto the KWUR server…

  3. Midnight Cowboy says:

Klax – WordPress (what we're switching to) will import everything from Blogger, so the transition should be smooth, no lost content.

  4. Midnight Cowboy says:

and yes, of course, you'll still have access!

  5. Klax says:

Awesome, WordPress will be great — I'm always surprised how shitty Blogger is considering it's a google product…

Keep up the good work guys
